For daily use, keep charge between 20% and 80% to minimize stress on the cells. Charging to 100% is fine for long trips but avoid leaving the battery at full charge for extended periods. Most EVs allow you to set a charge limit in the settings.

Occasional DC fast charging is fine, but frequent use generates more heat than Level 2 charging, which can accelerate degradation. Many vehicles now include thermal management systems to mitigate this. Limiting fast charging to 1–2 times per week is a good practice.
