Background
Zeekr is Geely's premium EV sub-brand, pitched between the volume Geely models and the luxury Lynk & Co range. The 007 is its first proper sedan, and it's a serious effort.
Performance
The AWD Performance variant produces 544 hp and dispatches the 0–100 km/h sprint in 2.84 seconds. On the Shanghai circuit's back straight, it felt genuinely rapid — the kind of rapid that makes passengers nervous.
Ride and Handling
The air suspension system on the Premium trim adapts impressively. In Comfort mode, the 007 floats over rough sections of the circuit access road. Switch to Sport and body roll tightens considerably, though the car never fully disguises its 2,200 kg kerb weight.
Price
Starting at ¥229,900 in China. Export pricing expected in H2 2026.
Verdict
Zeekr 007 is perhaps the most under-discussed car of the year. European buyers should pay close attention when it arrives.
