Introduction
The BYD Seal has been one of the most hotly anticipated refreshes of the year. First unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show, the 2026 edition brings meaningful upgrades across the board.
What's New
The headline addition is a new 100 kWh blade battery pack, pushing the CLTC range figure to 700 km on a single charge. The rear-wheel-drive base trim now outputs 313 hp — up from 268 hp in the outgoing model.
Inside, the centre console has been completely redesigned. The rotating 15.6-inch infotainment screen now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto natively, a first for BYD in this segment.
